BofA Springen Flingen!

Barony of Atenveldt's - Springen Flingen! - Sat, April 5, 10am – 5pm

Barony of Atenveldt's - Springen Flingen!

Join us, good gentles all, for the Barony of Atenveldt's relaxed and frolicksome event, Springen Flingen!

There will be a hardsuit tournament for testing prowess, a rapier tournament for testing finesse, A&S classes to add to your largesse, and a period joke contest that should be a right mess!

The event will have an open-ended pot luck (finger foods, eat when you're hungry), so bring your best German (or not!) dish to share! (Remember that this site does NOT have electrical access, so plan accordingly)

*Master Simon will be running the rapier tournament - an off-hand tourney with a twist! Bring a silly something to serve as your main weapon! A stuffed animal, a bunch of carrots, whatever suits your fancy.

There will be small prizes awarded to both the victor and to the fighter with the most clever alternative weapon.

*There will also be a super-fun hardsuit tourney and two or three A&S classes taking place!

Details TBA, watch the Tome of Faces for updates!

*There will be a wide variety of very entertaining GAMES to play for all ages and abilities. Three words: Giant "Mead" Pong. :)

*There will be a PERIOD JOKE CONTEST! Do you know some great SCA-themed or period jokes? This is your chance to shine! Contact an autocrat to get on the list (one joke per entrant) - the contest will be held as an addition to closing court. (Keep it relatively clean, there WILL be smalls in attendance!)
